FUNDRAISING: Eric Bellner.2 INITIATES: Jessica Schell [email protected] On Saturday, August 20th, KPK will be helping new OSU Freshmen move into their dorms. This will be a great opportunity for KPK advertisement (try to wear KPK apparel if you plan on participating) and it will give new students a chance to learn about our organization. If you participate you will earn a service point for the Fall semester. If you sign up you can choose which shift you would like to work (you can also choose to work both shifts), the shifts are 7:30-11:30am and 11-3:00pm. We will be providing bagels in the morning and lunch will be provided in the afternoon. The dorm we will be assisting is TBD and I will send out that information as soon as I receive it. We will be posting a survey to Facebook soon to gauge interest and then we will post a sign up sheet. On Sunday, August 21st, KPK will be advertising to new students at the Student Involvement Fair from 4-7pm. We will be located in the Academic and College section and we are table 1 (because we're obviously #1). This event basically entails talking to new students and trying to get them to sign up for KPK and we will have a prize wheel along with multiple KPK items to give away to students. If you plan on attending, please wear KPK apparel so we look united as an organization. You must stay at the involvement fair for AT LEAST one hour in order to earn a point. This event can be used as a social OR a service point, it's your choice! We will be posting a survey to Facebook soon to gauge interest in this event and then we will post a sign up sheet. |
